We planned and tested various ways to use Fidlock beyond simply a magnetic buckle, and ultimately decided to use this system for the Code1's new opening and closing mechanism. Furthermore, by devising and adding VanNuys' own unique functionality, we succeeded in incorporating the ability to replace the buckle itself.
